Happy Celebration of Life Day

Celebrate The People You Love.

We all have special people in our lives. For some of us it’s a family member, for others it’s a friend. What makes a person special to us varies from the way they make us feel to the way they help us selflessly or just by the way you get along with eachother and are able to talk about anything. How much effort would it take to tell that special person how you feel? Way too often we wait until their funeral to “Celebrate their life” talk about how wonderful of a person they were and place roses on their grave, roses they can’t smell or see. The perfect time is now, don’t wait. Part of celebrating life is showing gratitude to those who have made a positive impact in our lives. You can celebrate the life of that special person by calling them up and telling them how much you love them or thanking them for being so awesome. You can buy them a rose or treat them out to dinner; you can complement them, or even throw them a party.

Being grateful and keeping it positive is a way of celebrating life.

At the start of each day before we get up we can take a second to be grateful to enjoy another day. As we gaze upon the beautiful spectacles of life we can take a second to be thankful. As we go about our day enjoying the pleasures that make life that much more enjoyable we can look into the universe and say I am grateful for this moment. You’re like a magnet attracting to you more of what coincides with what you are feeling. Life responds to you, your thoughts, your actions and the way you feel. When you’re feeling grateful for all of the good in your life you are radiating positive vibes which helps manifests more good in your life. When you feel positive you carry yourself differently, your demeanor is positive which promotes positive interactions with others. You speak with a more inviting tone which makes other want to hear what you have to say and because you are keeping it positive and celebrating all of the good in your life you will attract more things to celebrate and feel grateful and positive about.

Enjoying the Little things is a way of celebrating life.

When you take an extra second and enjoy the smell of honey suckles in the spring or that rose bush you walk by your celebrating life. When you sip your tea a little slower and really enjoy the taste, that’s celebrating life. When you really indulge in a conversation with a loved one or take the time to feel the warmth from the embrace of a hug, or forget about your troubles and have a care free day of smiles and laughter with some good friends you are celebrating life.

Some other activities that can be enjoyed as a way of celebrating life are:

1. Dancing

When you’re dancing you’re feeling good and your focus is on being happy and enjoying yourself.

2. Playing

Playing is a joyful activity that promotes smiling and feeling good. It’s a good way of interacting with others and sharing in a good time.

3. Cuddling

When you cuddle with another person you are exchanging personal affection. You are letting that person know that you care about them and reminding them how much they mean to you.

4. Nature walks.

When you’re out in nature your attention is directed to all of earths beautiful life forms. The plants, animals, and birds and it all comes together to create one beautiful ever changing scene which can be admired for hours.

5. Gardening.

When you’re planting fruits, vegetables, and flowers you are not only creating something beautiful for people to enjoy while they’re alive but you are also preserving life by growing some of what we need to survive and doing anything that preservse life is a way of celebrating life.
